Last month I did a post on What’s Working, a quick round up of things that are helping me live a more intentional, simpler life. I had a lot of fun putting that post together, and there were so many things I wanted to talk about, that I decided to make What’s Working a regular monthly post. I hope you enjoy!
1. ePantry: If you’re not familiar with this company, you need to be! They offer name brand, environmentally friendly household products like cleaning supplies, paper towels, laundry detergent etc. at a discounted rate. Not only do they ship directly to your house, saving you a trip to the store, but they offer an auto-replenishment service making sure you never forget the products you need most. If you’re interested in checking out ePantry for yourself, use my referral code and receive a $10 credit and a free candle! (By the way, I love their candles!) https://www.epantry.com/referrer/60326/
2. Long Walks: I love taking walks, but typically fall out of the habit when the weather is not ideal. If you know me at all this is not a surprise. I’ve started walking around the neighborhood in the evenings as soon as I get home. It helps me clear my mind and process things that happened during the day, it reenergizes me after a long commute, and it gives me space to just be quiet and talk to God. Huffington Post even says taking a walk can be the best thing you do for your mood all day.
3. Nature Box: Andrew and I are loving Nature Box! They deliver nutritionist-approved snacks right to your door. Each snack contains wholesome ingredients – with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. When you join, you receive 5 different snacks each month. You can easily stock your “pantry” with items you would like to receive or let them surprise you. Also, with every box they deliver, they donate 1 meal to Feeding America. This service has made grocery shopping easier and is helping us live a more balanced life!
I hope these ideas help you bring a little more intention to your life. What’s working for you right now? I’d love to hear your ideas!
